Hello
I am using Drupal 6.1
I have created a very basic site.
I wanted to set it to the Zen theme so I set Zen to default.
I seem to have very few configuration options using this theme.
The result is very messy and looks very wrong.
I tried other themes with the same result.
I have no idea where to go from here.

The idea with Zen is that you
The idea with Zen is that you make a "subtheme", in Zen this is called the STARTERKIT, you copy that and follow the instructions to set up your own subtheme (detailed instructions are included in the Zen readme and on this site in Zens documentation).
If you cant figure out how to set up the subtheme then consider something that is a half built starter theme out-of-the-box like Tendu, Bluetrip or the Framework theme.
