A working Chat module for Drupal?

Is there not a working chat module for Drupal? Almost every chat module that exists is either not fully functional or plagued with bugs and not ready for production use on a Drupal 6x site.
I'm using the Tribune module but I was looking for an option that is not self hosted and ideally flash or ajax based. Any ideas?
Posted this here because a lot of people would want to know this prior to deciding if Drupal is right for them.

All 5 chat modules, which includes the modules you named, have serious bugs not worthy of use on a production site. Only the Tribune module functions as intended, however on a shared hosting environment it can be slow.
IRC is not a self hosted option right? Similarly other chat options which usually host the chat channel on an external server, not the same server as Drupal instal, would be best.

I use phpfreechat on my main site no problem. Good feature set, works great.

This is the issue queue on 6x-1.1 - some critical bugs have no responses for 5 weeks.

No, I'm using the current d6 version but I don't use autonick=true and allow anonymous users to chat at the same time.

I checked out the Mibbit demo.. Looks very good to me.. Its for chatting on IRC

All the demos look awesome buddy, not sure about functionality. Right now PHPChat and Tribune seem to be the most stable.
Tribune can be enabled ina block and a full chat room, not sure if PHPchat can be enabled in a block like a shouitbox.
