Sorry, forgot to close the tag. Again:
It would be useful, if Author taxonomy would let the user select the author name from a list in Content Profile, rather than letting the administrator link it manually on the term configuration page.
Content profile allows different content types for different roles, so we could let the editors select their names, while other registered users just use their normal names.
Would be very useful on a page with a lot of authors, which can be trusted and which register over time, and not on one day.

Firstly, I hope I am submitting this question correctly, if not, I do apologize and feel free to inform of how to do this correctly.

I have the module installed and a separate Taxonomy list of my other 'Authors'. That part I get. What I am not grasping, is now how to 'assign' multiple authors. Example, I have a page I created as the admin but want to have it co-authored by another author. This will work with my permissions set up based on this taxonomy (I am trying to build access to everything based off this taxonomy list - who can edit what, etc.). So how exactly do I assign another author? If I go to this page and select 'edit mode', scroll along to bottom of page there is the 'Authoring information' box. Is there a syntax (format) to include another author? Do I just delete 'admin' and put in the other author? If I delete and replace, how is that multiple authored?

Again, this may be blindingly obvious but I am somewhat of a noob to Drupal but really loving it. I tried just googling this for help but all comes back to this page :(

Gumbytie: You have unwittingly overwritten an existing issue with a new, unrelated one.

To create a new issue, click Create a new issue on the Author Taxonomy issues page.

Also, "Help for an apparent moron with this cool module" is not a descriptive title. Please use the "Issue title" field to provide a brief description of the problem.
