I think it is possible, however quite tricky and different from the currently used methods. I will try to implement it, but it will take some time, because I have a lot of things to do now.

As much as I love this module and all its features, a way to show the stats for a group to unregistered visitors would be amazing. All it would need would be a way of typing in the group name directly to the module settings rather than fetching it every time from the profile field. Or somehow over-riding it after it is collected if that's simpler. Even fetching it from another type of field nested in another node would be fine. I know this is not what the module was intended to do and there are probably many ways of doing this without the module (last.fm provides its own way of embedding charts) but a drupal-based one that can be embedded in blocks, panels etc would be perfect.
Thanks very much in advance for looking into this.

Yeah, I will make a username and a groupname field on the admin page. And a checkbox to use them rather than the user's fields. Then I have to make the block public if this checkbox is checked. The tricky part is the backend of it, because the feeds are connected to drupal users. But its absolutely possible to make it work. If I will have time, I will try to implement it in this weekend.
