I've reinstalled this a few times and spent a couple days trying to get this working, but I can't figure it out. I have the module enabled with Drupal 6.10 and I've tried different strings for the alias (me, my, ME, etc.) including all combinations of settings, and it still doesn't seem to do anything except redirect to, for example with the friendlist module, http://mixbymail.aglitchinthematrix.net/user/me/community. The "me" in this URL should be replaced with the UID, and I have checked and verified that the me aliases module is enabled and that the alias is "me", with case-insensitivity enabled. Can anyone shed light/tell me if I'm missing something obvious?

BTW, I also tried enabling and disabling a few other modules that I thought might be interfering, like the paths module. My current contrib. module list is (not all enabled, FYI):

I'm not sure I fully understand this question. Did you try the "Redirect to UID" option? That should redirect from "user/me/community" to "user/UID/community". Without that option, it will simply stay on "user/me/community". most of the time this is fine, as me handles telling the rest of Drupal which UID to actually use, although this will only work for paths that are registered in the Drupal menu system with the %user placeholder.

Where does the "user/me/community" path come from do you know? is it a module path? Or one you setup? Or is it arbitrary?

I don't think there is a problem with 'me' here so closing this issue. Please re-open if the problem still exists and you can provide new information.

Please do not open old issues when you have already created a new one. FYI these issues do not appear to be related, this issue was most likely fixed by #468886: me and flag-friends
