I'm currently working on a module that would integrate the features of the following blog-related modules:
... and add requested features as well. This module is being developed for Drupal 6 (some of these are lacking D6 ports), and in order to stick to Drupal standards I would like to ask if this module is still being developed or in need of a maintainer? According to CVS logs and the support system, there hasn't been much change =.
I have already contacted each of the module maintainers via the contact form, but not yet received a response. If there are any co-maintainers or developers interested in carrying forward with blog-related module features, please contact me (or post here). Thanks. :D

Yeah its been nearly a year since last commit. From the looks of this module there are a lot of features already here, perhaps they will let you be a co-maintainer? Either way I would be interested to see your new drupal 6 blogger goodness. Please let us know when you take next steps!

Well, I still haven't heard back from any of the module maintainers, unfortunately. This all started because I've set up community blogging on two of my sites, and I prefer Drupal over WordPress MU. The problem is that the blog listings and such aren't very pretty. I've been using a combination of these three modules and some custom php pages to get the functionality I need. I figure that this would be a good chance to start giving back to the Drupal community (been using Drupal for nearly 3 years now).
The Drupal handbook suggests waiting 2 weeks after posting before filing an "abandoned module" claim. I really hope it doesn't come to that, but I haven't seen much action on any of these modules lately (except from the community patches).

Subscribing. Integrating their features to a D6 module would be good.

This module appears to be abandoned under "Dealing with abandoned projects" guidelines at http://drupal.org/node/251466 , so if there is anybody who wants to take over the project, please forward this issue to "Drupal.org webmasters"

Blog Add-ons (located here)
This module appears to be abandoned, and there has been no response (see here) from the project owner for 2 weeks. I would like to take over ownership of this module in order to continue development.

Is there any development, in this report?

As there is a supported module that what the abandoned module did (and even more), would not it possible to mark as abandoned the old module, and put a message that redirects to the new module?
#10
I will take care of this task.
#11
I am changing the title to reflect all the modules interested.
#12
The modules have been marked as abandoned.
#13
Subscribing!!

I am changing back the status of the report.
