Description
Most images on the web are easy to drag or copy to your local computer. However, some slideshow or gallery creation programs, (e.g. iWeb...uggh) have coding to prevent easy copying. I'm not sure how; maybe they use some kind of java display so that you can't just download the files via a drag to your desktop.
Copyright and asset protection are important issues for professional photographers and artists, so I wonder if a views_slideshow option can be created that offers more protection for the images in my slideshow.

I understand what you are trying to achieve the only problem is it is fairly easy to circumvent this by viewing the source and figuring out the path. Marking as won't fix. If someone has a good idea on how to accomplish this without viewing source I would be happy to hear it.

iWeb uses flash, which is pretty much the only way to do what you want. (And even that can be circumvented with a screenshot, which I've done before when I've wanted to capture something on Flash).
There are many flash slideshows available out there, even for Drupal. I don't know them off the top of my head, but I'm sure a google search will turn up dozens. And who knows? Maybe someday someone will create a plugin for views slideshow (hopefully using OpenLaszlo, rather than Flash, to create the swf).
