I realised that the option of forcing the users to vote only once (restricted by IP) has disappeared and there is no way to control number of votes per user. What should I do!?

Do you mean anonymous users, logged in users, or both? I need a more thorough bug report to fix this.

Anonymous users, I have not checked with users as I do not have any user for my site yet. But this option to was in the setting in basic verion where you can say that each computer can vote only once.

D6 is EOL hence this issue won't be fixed (or) attended. So closing it.
