Hello

Please look at the site first www.architecture.name

on the row 2 and row 3. some of the text are too long , which over the background image. the text came from different field of CCK, I need to control this from my style.css to make it shorter. but I don't know how to do it.

Can anybody help me ?

set a width on the containing div, eg

.view-item-architecture_grid {width: 250px;}

As a start I would use

.view-architecture-grid  .view-field {
  width: 250px;
}

And if you use Firefox the firebug extension is useful for issues like this.
