I just installed a module which had a dependency on a module I didn't have on my website. I didn't figure this out until I went to enable the module.

It would be useful to be notified of dependencies if they are not installed as modules are selected for installation?

I'm currently devving a page which will do that and allow you to automatically find & install missing dependencies. It should be up within a few days.
