When I create a new group (using OG with OG Forum), and try access its forum, it says access denied. I saw that in your module no any permission is set to for any user, so I think there should be some admin interface to configure what are the permission you should acquire when creating a new forum in og forum module.

What makes you think that Forum Access ought to take care of this rather than OG Forum?

How do OG Forum and Forum Access interact? Does OG Forum use the 'Forum topic' content type?

Aren't the OG Forum nodes controlled by OG? I don't think Forum Access should interfere with OG. Mind you, grants are ORed, i.e. if OG allows access to a node, then it doesn't matter what FA does. Other access modules (including possibly FA) could grant access to OG Forum nodes, but this would undermine OG's access control — I don't think this is what you want.
