Recently moved site from single site setup (default directory) to multisite. Now the Directory path displays '/files// ' for the trailing end of the directory path. How do I change it, eliminating the extra '/' ? This is making all of the new file uploads display a directory with the extra /

check your file system settings and make sure your file directory path does not end with /
