Description

Hello,

is it possible to create a slideshow for a website's frontpage which would include several pictures with text on shaded area, and "Read More" link. I would also like to find out if it is possible to have small thumbnails or slidesow numbers to navigate through the slides.

I am looking to create something like http://www.frontpageslideshow.net. If it is possible could you please let me know how, is there any documentation which describes how to place text on the picture. I was unable to figure out how to place text and the shaded region. Is there any documentation or screencast?

Thank in advance
Eric

Have a look at the dynamic display block module.

This is exactly what this does. In 2.x it adds the pager ability.

I too would like to be able to add some text on top of my slideshow and I see that version 2.x has the pager option (which I don't need) but I need to be able to add the text on top of the images kind of like what is seen here http://twoshirts.org/ Any assistance in helping me get closer to that goal would be much appreciated.
