Please have a look at this handbook page
http://drupal.org/getting-started/6/install/run-script
The screen shots will give us a better idea of where you are when it stops..
One item can be the location of the database if is not "localhost" , I have one site that the database is... 1stacc222008.accountsupportmysql.com
it's in advanced options on the database page..

Hi all,

I experience just the same. On the screenshots, it is after second step and before site config.
Title of displayed page is "Content | Drupal", and page is... void.

I am installing 6.11 on wamp 5_1.7.2.

Does anyone know the trick ?

Thx

Edit : php errlog
PHP Warning: ksort() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in C:\wamp\scripts\refresh_apache_mod.php on line 37

Hi,

Thanks for this link.
By the way, I had checked all that yet.

Apache mod_rewrite is ok, and so on.

Problem remains...

Where should I look to locate what's going wrong and sort this out ??

Cheers,

I have been searching the net for similar errors. and the possible fixes are all over the place. Just an idea..have you tried using Firefox to install... I don't use IE for anything, but i do use a windows box.
some of the forums were talking about a cookie issue. and browser differences.
I just don't know..

Hi,

You're right : wampserver 2 is ok for Drupal, WAMP5 is NOT OK.

Thanks a lot for this !

Have a good day.

This case is "Solved".

I've the same problem too!

I installed drupal6.12. My server software is Microsoft-IIS/6.0.

Actually, I'd installed successfully at the first time. But after I've tried doing many things, me admin sub menus turned to be disappeard. In fact, I still could see them on the left side menu, but on the right side ,most of them are no longer visible. And after I'd clicked those submenus on the left side, they didn't move me to any place! So after I've tried doing many things and it doesn't work out, I decide to install new drupal site again... And then I hit the same problem with you!

please forgive me if my english is not correct..
but I don't know what to do any more. help me plzz...T-T
