APK conflicts with Me Aliases module

This is unlikely to be an APK bug. Changing to proper category. I'll leave it open a while in case anyone wants to try to help you troubleshoot.

Have the same issue as the OP on my website www.bodynsoulpartypix.com. I just assume it has to do with panels and/or APK. Still running Panels 2 though waiting for the green light when Panels 3 is ready and APK is adapted to panels 3.

I left it open almost 3 weeks.

I am finding this too. i was not sure until I did a little digging.

APK does not show up when I use the me module. It is a little strange.

Is it "won't fix" because no one responded?

It's "won't fix" because that was a year ago and I wasn't doing any support at that time. I'm trying to spend a bit more time on support, now, but I still have limited time for it. If this is a conflict with the "me" module, that at least gives me something I can try to reproduce, unlike the other posts on this issue which were far too vague to act on.

This issue is against alpha 2. I'm going to assume you're not actually still using that. If you are, you need to upgrade.

I did upgrade :)

And get the error.

user/X
apk block will show up fine
user/me it disappears even if I place user/me as a condition for the block to show up

Changing title so I remember what this is. My guess is it has nothing to do with APK at all and is a CTools conflict but I don't want to move it to merlinofchaos's queue until I've done some testing of my own to be sure so leaving it here for now.

I've never gotten to this... Has anyone ever figured out what the problem is?

Actually I did stumble upon this just this morning as my profiles showed up empty. Disabling "me"-module brought everything back and I tried to find out more. On my test install everything is working fine. For the life of me I couldn't find what made the difference. All settings seem to be the same.
Given the fact that "me" is pretty much unmaintained and causes bunches of other troubles I decided to give up on it.

If 'me' is unmaintained then I'm just going to won't fix this. If someone comes along that figures out the problem and there's something I can change in APK, I'll accept a patch. Otherwise, I'm not going to spend my limited time chasing it down.

Haven't tested it out yet but it's pretty simple. 'Me' needs to have a heavier weight than Panels in the System table.
