date input field in formular

Issue Summary

Hi, I have a CCK formular with a date input field. Every time I edit or create a new page and press the submit button, the message "date is required" appears, although the date field is configured to have the value of the current date. Why do I have to click into this field and have to input the date again?

Drupal Version: 6.12
Date 6.x-2.2
Date PHP4 6.x-2.2
CCK version 6.x-2.2

I updated the modules - seems to be working now
