Images Missing after Upgrading Image Module to D6

Recently upgraded to 6.11. Since the upgrade all images in image gallery won't appear. Names are there, but no thumbnails. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. I just updated from 5.18 to 6.12. No images in my gallery any more, although the image descriptions are there as well as the link to the image node. The images are not visible in the nodes either. If the image is in another node (story, press release) then the image is visible, so I know the images are still there, just not visible in the gallery.
I selected all image items in Admin|Content|Rebuild images but this did not work. One thing different from the OP is that I am using "image-6.x-1.0-alpha4".
I'm about to update a couple of other sites to 6.12 from 5.18, but I want to make sure the images will be visible in the gallery before I do this.

Upgrading the Image module is a very rocky process.
So far I have no indication that IGA adds any complications of its own.
Specifically, IGA does its work on the nodes and it does not interfere in any way with the management of the picture files. So, if you see the descriptions as expected, then IGA is fine, and any other trouble comes from the Image module.
