Hi,
We have developed a module which uses the Facebook Openstream API and retrieves the information of Facebook stream and displays it in a drupal block. We would like to contribute this as a sub module to fbconnect.
The screencasts of this module is uploaded here. http://www.slideshare.net/azrisolutions/facebook-stream
Please check and let us know if you are interested in adding this module to fbconnect.
Regards,
Prajwala

pflame commentedHi pribeh,
We did not get reply from these people, so decided to contribute it as new module. We applied for CVS login in drupal. Until we get CVS login we hosted our code on google codes http://code.google.com/p/drupal-facebook-stream-module/ .

pribeh commentedThanks so much for posting the link and look forward to seeing it up on d.org! I see great potential with the open stream api. Have you fiddled around with their stream.publish api yet? I believe both fb and fbconnect modules use the obsolescent feed.publish to post stuff back to the fb user stream. Your submodule is definitely the right place to integrate stream.publish to let users publish stuff back into their stream. Apparently you don't even have to create templates for stream.publish. I'll try to help out as soon as I get through my php/pro drupal books.

pflame commentedHi pribeh,
I am glad that you like facebook stream module. We planned to implement stream.publish also, but presently the permissions for the stream.publish is available only for the developers of the application. So we decided to release the stream.get first and provide stream.publish once facebook team make it available for users also.
