I can´t enable the followinf modules: Hierarchical Select Book, Hierarchical Select Content Taxonomy, Hierarchical Select Content Taxonomy Views and Hierarchical Select Taxonomy Views. It says these modules are not compatible with Drupal 6.10.

Is there a reason for this?

Yes, they're not yet ported to Drupal 6. You should have searched the issue queue before asking this question, then you'd have found this yourself.
