Hi everybody,

I've been stuck at this for days now. In the forums, whenever a user posts a reply, there is this huge empty space that appears above the reply.

I've tried using firebug to pinpoint the area but to no avail. I'm pretty new to this and am not familiar with complex codings.

I'll appreciate if anyone will help me out with this =)

Thank you
-Merky

It's an incompatability with fivestar. Something in their star code messes with the layout. I've seen it before but have no idea what or even if anything can be done about it. I'll leave this open for a while in case someone has an idea.

Thanks Michelle,

I've tested it out and it works perfectly fine now. =)

You're a savour.

Cheers

Well, no, the problem still exists with fivestar. So let's leave this open a while. Not that it's likely anyone will come along and fix it but you never know.

The only thing I was able to do is move the fivestar rating to the bottom of the node. There is no empty space then.

The problem remains if a user rates the node and then posts a comment. In that case, the user's rating shows up above the comment, leaving a big gap between that rating and the comment.

Maybe this thread should go under the fivestar module issues?

Well, we can try it there. But they're probably going to say it's a theme problem. When two modules don't work well together, you end up between queues, unfortunately. Since I'm not using Fivestar in my forums, yet, this isn't a priority for me.
