On my page I have ACL and FA enabled to hide one forum, but I have discovered that as long as FA is enabled no one besides the 1-user could see the commentform or access it and the link to comment was only visible to the 1-user and to anonymus-users to convince them to join.
Nobody else could see either, even though granted the right.
Disabling FA and no change at all to anything else enabled commenting for all the correct users.

salvisGreat, thanks for letting us know.

jsp_1983 commentedDo you mean BETA4 for Forum Access or for ACL?
If it's ACL, I'm having trouble finding a direct link to a download. Could someone help me out with that, please?

jsp_1983 commentedI'm still having trouble finding where to download it from - would somebody be so kind as to post a direct link, please?
This is the only link I can find for downloading Forum Access - http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/forum_access-6.x-1.0-rc1.tar.gz - which is the one I am currently using.

lomz commentedRC1 is newer: http://drupal.org/node/87986/release

jsp_1983 commentedOkay... I've installed the newer module, but non-admin users are still receiving this message when they try to reply to a post or start a thread:
Access denied
You are not authorized to access this page.
Is there perhaps something I might have missed?
Just to add, I've also upgraded to the latest ACL module available, ACL-6.x-1.0-rc1_1.tar, which didn't appear to have an effect still.
