Hide "user profiles" tab from roles that don't have permission to use it

Roles w/o profileplus permission still see "User Profiles" tab on the search results screen. But when they click it, they get "search yielded no results." (Users tab works in these cases and shows usernames).

Would rather not clutter the form w/a tab they can't use. Is there a way to remove it just for roles w/o permission?
