Description on visibility of OG in the group directory seems incorrect

The description for the Group visibility settings seems incorrect to me:

OG admins always see the checkbox for adding a group to the groups directory. Note that changing this setting has no effect on existing posts. Re-save those posts to acquire this new setting.

If you select the option "New groups always appear in the groups directory", this description is not true. Isn't it? I can not see the checkbox when I create an group. The description is true for "site admins" but nog "OG admins", imo.
