Issue Summary
The following pages needs work.
The idea is to work on the following page http://drupal.org/cases which shows specific, well written case studies as examples. There are pages within these that show specific cases. This by passes the forum and the URL filter, and can act as a precedent for spam. In fact one could argue that case studies here are not only misplaced, but are also spam. The over idea is to look into these situations and see if the case study page was abused and to simplify it down to one page. In doing so we also meet the needs of issues:
#233922: write a use case that demonstrates what Drupal could do for an ecommerce site
#233923: write a use case that demonstrates what Drupal could do for a local government site
#233931: write a use case that demonstrates what Drupal could do for a professional community
#233940: write a use case that demonstrates what Drupal could do for a small company
These pages are case studies that do not belong in the handbook
Archive http://drupal.org/node/233897
Archive http://drupal.org/designer-case-studies
Archive http://drupal.org/node/305725 and http://drupal.org/node/248087 --> should of been added to the forums Drupal Showcase. Contact writer and notify him that his page will be archived and that it should be edited and added to the forums instead.
Archive http://drupal.org/node/233904-> is a reference that points to forum only, popular science is already here http://drupal.org/cases
Archive, add no follow to all external links, and notify original poster to publish his article in the forums -> http://drupal.org/node/29603
I will research the above pages to see if they are already within the forum! I do not think that these are invalid topics, this section has gotten out of hand. There are comments that support these decisions.

#1
Moving to webmasters queue for a wider audience about the site and case studies.
#2
Well, it's been over a year, and there's been no feedback from this queue. Anyone have any objections if I clean out some of these?
#3
I think anything over six months should be "wont fixed" - the users can of course reapply if they want.
#4
These are for already published case studies in the About section - the OP had suggested re-arranging and unpublishing some of these, and add1sun had moved it into this queue for our feedback. I've felt this section has needed some clean-up for some time, and am willing to start with these changes if no one has any objections.
#5
IMO- this conversation needs to be had within the context of the redesign of the marketplace. Tagging...

This is relevant to the wider issue is #948062: Build Drupal Case Studies and also #1040124: Clean up the "Success Stories" section of the case studies. Both forum content and the nodes in /cases need some major cleanup. Could this issue be considered a duplicate?
