filefield conflict

When I go to edit an album, It is taking me to node/226/edit, An error shows:
Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in ..\sites\all\modules\filefield\filefield_widget.inc on line 441
I'm not sure if this is album photos or Filefield. Any ideas whats going on.

FileField 6.x-3.0

I just upgraded to 6.12 and upgraded all the modules. Images do not display and I cannot edit the nodes. The error message is:
Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in public_html/modules/filefield/filefield_widget.inc on line 441
There is no line 441 . . . . what Can I do to get round this?
I am using CCK, Composite Layout, ImageCache and ImageField

Hi fabius have you solved that now? I have almost the same problem apart from the fact that I have a 441 line in the modules/filefield/filefield_widget.inc file.
Any help would be much appreciated,
