Having both Weblinks and Glossary modules causes the related terms to disappear from the term edit page. The Parents selector box still appears, but the related terms selector box disappears. Disabling weblinks causes the related terms selector box to reappear on the term edit page.

nancydruI will have to see if this can be fixed.

nancydruI just noticed the release you reported - 1.8 is VERY old, and unsupported. Please upgrade to 5.x-2.5, which works just fine on my system.

webalchemist commentedNancy, I'm sure my Drupal Fledgling stripes are showing here, but I am somewhat confused with your response. When I visit http://drupal.org/project/Drupal it tells me that the latest release is 5.18. Can you please tell me what you mean when you say update to 5.x-2.5? When I view http://www.mysite.com/admin/logs/updates it tells me that all my modules are up to date.
What is 5.x.2.5?

nancydru:) Yes, James, they do show, but there is nothing wrong with that. Even Dries (the original author) was a novice at one time.
A short, shameless plug here: It is a well-known fact that much of the best documentation on Drupal is done by newbies. Please consider helping there. I was the #5 contributor to the handbooks when I had 6 months of experience.
Back to the question: In general you will see core versions written as 5.x and 6.x or a specific version as 5.18 or 6.12 (gosh, I remember thinking 5.2 would never come out...). Contributed modules are listed with a core compatibility and a version number, such as 5.x-2.5 or 6.x-1.6, which mean "Drupal 5 compatible, Version 2, release 5" or "Drupal 6 compatible, Version 1, release 6." This way, if you see "5.x-2.5" you can know that it means a module release rather than a core release. [BTW, I will be adding this to the Cookbook; thanks for making me think about it.]
So, if you are on 5.x-2.5, you shouldn't be seeing this. I maintain both modules and I don't see this happening.

webalchemist commentedNancy, that makes total sense. Now I get that the Version field in the issue submissions is not my drupal version but the module version. Now I know that my version is 5.x-2.7. I guess that is not an option because I submitted this on the weblinks issue, not the glossary issue.
Now a little off topic, Is there any way I can receive a notification via email when my issues are updated?
nancydruWell, the current 5.x version is 5.x-2.5, which is what I tested and don't see this problem. You can change the version above any time.
For subscribing, go to the top of this page and click on "issues" in the breadcrumbs. On that page you will see "Subscribe." That page can be VERY slow to load so be patient.
