in frame direktory gives it to 2 options: "my images" and "all images"

That is too few and a little stupid.

What do I mean with stupid? An example for the explanation.

A Drupal website with 500 images. The 500 pictures are in different galleries. All 500 pictures belong to only 1 Member, an editor.

If I now with img_assist a picture insert - which happens? All 500 pictures are used in frame directory.
Option all images -> 500 images
Option my images -> 500 images

That is the point.

What is better in this situation?

There is a 3. option for indicates the images. This option is a SELECT field to selects the individual galerys.

Is this option a utopian feature? I think, no. I think, this option am very important.

Please this option implements as new feature in img_assist. And many user will welcome that.

Please don't shout. You're not paying anything to use Drupal or img_assist, so you really can't expect anything to be done for you. There's nothing wrong with posting feature requests, but if you really want a feature you should submit a patch.

On a more positive note, you'll be happy to know that the new Drupal 4.7 version of img_assist DOES allow you to browse images by categories.
