Hi everybody,

I installed Views Slideshow on my website today. It's great module, many thanks! But it don't work when I try to create a view block with slide show. The same page view with slide show does work! I have no idea why ...

I have done all mentioned in documentation for this module. I've tried to change every setting (Slideshow List, Slideshow Teasers, Slideshow Full Nodes), it's no matter what settings are used.

Please help to solve this problem.

I am experiencing the same problem: Slideshows in blocks don't work with default or any other settings. I've even re-installed latest versions of drupal + modules + db to see if that helped.

The following issue threads describe identical or similar issues: http://drupal.org/node/325353, http://drupal.org/node/822044, but are not offering a solution that can help me. Any suggestions or ideas how I can make the slideshow blocks work?

BTW: I have read all the threads about how slideshows don't show in views preview, but if you click on preview a second time you get a preview of the view on a separate page and the slideshow works there, even for blocks. However it doesn't work when the same block view is embedded in a page :(

Can you fully explain your problem? Are you embedding a view? Explain what you are trying to accomplish.

I am doing a simple linked image slideshow using a cck imagefield and a text field for the url. The content is retrieved correctly from the db, and I can see the list of item fields if I do not add the slideshow view.

The problem is that the slideshow does not rotate, but is only displaying the first item (in my case a linked image), when included in a page as a view (plain default call), or as a block via the drupal block functionality. Slideshow settings are set to default.

Funny thing: as mentioned in other threads the slideshow does not rotate in the views preview, but it does if you click the preview button twice, and get the preview on a page without the settings showing. This is the only place the slideshow works as expected, rotating the linked images.

Hello there!

Can some one plz make my life easier . I have been trying to create an image slideshow on my front page in a block but I donot see any image slide show in that block,,,,I donot know how to connect that block with the View Slide show I have created.
Please can some figure this out for me.
