I have a corporate website using v4.7 Drupal... i find that when users "email this page' to mutiple addresses either using comma separated or new line they get message 'Thank you for your help in spreading the word about (company name). We appreciate your help" yet the receipients would not receive the mail.

I would HIGHLY recommend you upgrade the site. Drupal 4.7 is extremely old - I don't even have a 4.7 development environment any more so I don't really have any way to test this.

Only thing I can suggest is check the watchdog logs and see if any error is reported when you attempt to send the emails.

The site has lots of custom built modules...will cause issues.

The error logs show:
Error sending email: SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: (email address)

Can you post the full contents of that error without redacting the email addresses? Or at least send it to me via the contact form on my user profile?
