zip download issue via Gallery Module?

Description
I recently notice a problem when downloading photos from the embedded G2 pages. If I try to download a zip that contains more than 6 or 7 images (totaling about 60 MB or so) the zip file will download but is damaged (corrupt?) and cannot be extracted. This same download works perfectly if I go directly to /gallery2/ and download that way.
I've also had users report problems trying to download these zip files when using Vista and I.E. 7. Again, it works perfectly if I just have them access the non-embedded interface /gallery2/.
Using Drupal 6.12 and Gallery 2.3
Any suggestions? Bug?
P.S. Long time Gallery Mod user -- appreciate the work on this module! First ever problem using it.

I can confirm this issue. I have exactly the same problem. Following bug report discribes exactly the same problem http://drupal.org/node/192159 and brings no solution. For me the problem appears when filesize of the zip exceeds 21.9 MB. But as described above only in the embedded version. The standalone works fine. Played around with some php.ini values but had no other result. Guess its a bug cause both embedded and standalone gallery use same environment and php values.

Which module are you using to create the zip file?

I have experienced this issue also. I can download 4 picture approximatly 8MB but not anymore in IE from the embedded version. I can download any size of file when using the standalone gallery in IE. I can download any file size I want in FF from the embedded version.
