Blocks only work with a Flickr Pro account?

I can only get the flickr.module blocks to show up if I configure the module (at admin/settings/flickr) to use a paid Flickr account. If I enter the username of a free Flickr account, the blocks don't show up. If, on the other hand, I enter the username of a Flickr Pro account, the blocks show up A-OK. Is this known/intended behavior?

The block shows up with a free Flickr account for me...
Are the pictures designated as public on Flickr?
Have you tried with Flickr NSID or e-mail?
Maybe you have been using a Flickr alias instead of real username?

Try entering the Flickr NSID of the free account, instead of the username. There was a bug in 6.x-1.1 that meant the username wasn't being correctly converted to a Flickr NSID (it's been fixed in the development version). If that doesn't work let us know.
