Not sending Newsletters. Not sure what I'm missing?

I've installed Simplenews, and Simplenews digest, created a couple of newsletters, and when they get created, they just sit in Drafts, unsent, although the nodes get created. When I click "Edit" I can manually send them, and have confirmed they get sent.
How come they won't send automatically?

I figured out the problem, I missed setting user access for anon to be allowed to send newsletters. Once I set that they are getting sent now. I forgot that cron is run by "anonymous".
