Wim, I've followed HS from the beginning. I think I was one of the people to download the very first published version of it. But I've seen it now outgrow its original intentions and it is one of the largest most (over) complicated modules on my site and I'm thinking about just getting rid of it. Why?

Because it's had feature after feature added to it and has now become (at least on my installation) buggy as hell. I've posted a few issues on here in the last month or so but have chosen not to post others because I know how busy you are. I believe the original intention of HS has been left far behind as people's continual requests have been added and added and added. I read through your issue requests and can see also in you a frustration at what has become to be honest a "monster".

So here is my simple request. Can you create HS Lite a bug-free version of what HS used to be a year ago?

(this is a tongue-in-cheek post but with a serious message! Keep up the good work...but I do think I'm now going to download a version from a few months ago because I'm fed up with db errors and status report errors every single time I try and do anything with HS)

Is it whining ? Why complain while you could provide bug report and help get bugs fixed for everyone ?
There is version that everyone use, and I think it is very rude to ask to release some special version for your person, unless you pay developer to do it.
I don't have db errors you mention, there are some minor bugs but they are not critical. Remember every software has bugs.
HS is lite as it could since long time ago: it has API to split implementation in third-party modules. So I think it is pointless to discuss this.

It's a shame there isn't a status "obvious sarcastic post that some people won't get - even if you put a paragraph at the end of it to make it clear that you're not being serious".

I suppose there'll always be people in this world who have to have EVERY SINGLE THING pointed out to them.

It was an ironic post with a serious message: HS has become over bloated and over complicated and I'd bet good money that Wim himself realises that.

It was quite clearly NOT a serious request for him to make a new version just for me - and I even added the final few lines just to make it REALLY obvious to those with short attention spans that it wasn't a serious request but I guess there are always a few who slip through the cracks.
