Ability to do single role, but don't show "authenticated user"

We have 2 options: "Jobseeker" and "Recruiter". When someone registers we want them to see:

Pick One:
JobSeeker
Recruiter

But they see:

Authenticated user
JobSeeker
Recruiter

How do we fix the module so it does not show "authenticated user", but requires them to pick from the 2 options. Then when it does a form save we need the database to have "authenticated user" and "jobseeker". Not just jobseeker.
