Is it possible to include in quizzes "if-then-else" conditions, so that your next question would depend on your answer to the current question (if answer #1 to question #1 then go to question #2, else go to question #3, etc.)? Or maybe there are some other modules that can be used to do this kind of thing?

No. As of now adaptive quiz ("if-then-else" conditions quiz) is not possible. This is a duplicate of http://drupal.org/node/413176.
