Can I / how can I "grandfather" in controlled field content?

I believe I understand the Orphaned controlled fields settings thing, however, if I say "show" (on node view), even though the field contents display, I get an error message:
Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/vhosts/manomet.org/httpdocs/drupal/sites/all/modules/conditional_fields/conditional_fields.module on line 223.

Currently conditional fields does not support nested controlled fields.

As for the php error, have you tried the latest dev? It should be fixed by now.

Hello,

I had the same issue. Since I have upgraded to the latest dev this error never appeared again.
I think we can sign this issue as fixed and close it.
