What modules and tools would you use to make a "Ask Metafilter" style node for Drupal?

Can you point me to a Drupal site that is geared up for just Q&A?

Sorry for bumping this guys, but it's unusual not to get an answer or comment on these helpful forums.

I see that my question converges with discussion about:

a_ the development of a "Digg-style" node
b_ use of the moderation queue

My question is far simpler though. What nodes should I use so that:

a_ Content is displayed on a front page, blog-style by date
b_ Any user can post a question to the front page

What is the starting point for this?

Certainly, I'll do that - just casting around for opinions on it. I also see there's another module called "Topic" that performs a similar function.

It's interesting that a distribution of something like this MetaFilter clone hasn't been cobbled together on Drupal - it's a format that's growing in popularity:

I was wondering if you ever managed to get that webpage going?. (Q&A) Im also trying one, and have successfully gotten the FAQ and FAQ_Ask modules installed (Drupall 6.3) to work, exept for one small problem: (Users have to categorize the question) and the site owner wants that part of the ask form to be only shown .
