I enabled G2 module and defined a single G2 entry, "VOIP".

I edited a page and added the code VOIP.

I enabled the G2 input filter for this page's content type.

The DFN tag did not link to the VOIP definition I'd created; instead it linked to an offsite definition at riff.org.

I checked the G2 settings to confirm that remote queries were not enabled.

I think you have not set queries to local: replace the riff.org URL with the string "<local>" (without the double quotes).

Can you confirm this fixes your issue ?
