module says update successful, yet module was not updated

Correction, this is with 6.1.9. I am checking the dev now

Hmm, let me take that back. After poking around, and trying to update several modules, it seems to have stopped updating again.

So after plugin manager says update was successful, and I go to the update page again to select some more modules, they reappear, and the older version is shown in the available updates as well...

Ok, if I go to available update page after the install, plugin manager works fine.
