with this version I got following error: [11] Failed sending SMS: skipping empty number.
So I reverted to 6.x-1.x-dev (2009-Jun-30) and everything works

thank you for reporting this, it looks like i tagged the wrong version. the 6.1.1 is the fixed one :}
