I am encountering a problem similar to that reported http://drupal.org/node/147510 (in fact I posted there but then realized the issue was closed).

I have been sending out a newsletter regularly to the same basic list of addressees. The most recent time most emails went out fine, but a significant proportion, maybe 40, all the last ones to go out, have the error message "Newsletter could not be sent to [email address]".

Any suggestions on where to look for the source of the error?

The message "Newsletter could not be sent to ..." is a result of a PHP error. PHP could not deliver the email to the hosters mail handling system.
