In my opinion, it should be a fairly typical use case to subscribe to a user blog (blog/username). At the moment, afais only subscribing to blog posts OR a certain user works.
This may have an overlap with "Subscribe to Views" which would allow me to do so once I build a view for the user blog. However, as Drupal comes with the user blog as standard, Views shouldn't really be necessary for it.
And thanks for the cool module!

jose reyero commentedYes, you can subscribe to content of type 'blog' for a certain 'author'. There's not straight UI for that though.

ñull commentedHow can you subscribe to content type blog of a certain author? I am in blog/ and see no link to subscribe to the user's blog. I have activated all notification links in the content type, to make sure that i am not missing anything. Interestingly i don't see "blog of this author" among the possibilities nor do I see a subscription block appear with this possibility. Only when you actually enter a Blog post you can subscribe to that post, but not the person's blog as a whole. So please explain how you can do that?
