Image Assist not working with TinyMCE

I am running image assist 6.x-2.0-alpha3 with TinyMCE3 through WYSIWYG API 6.x-2.0. For some reason, image assist will run, allow me to upload and select an image, but when i try to insert it into the node body, it will not do anything (regardless of the insert settings that I choose). If I disable the rich text editing, it will insert both filter text and html code.

Image Assist is enabled through the WYSIWYG API TinyMCE settings page.
