Changing Maximum Image Size

bobalania - July 9, 2009 - 22:18

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if i can increase the maximum image size in drupal from the standard 645x480? As my images are larger than this and are therefore been cut in half?

Is this possible?

Thanks!

We'll need a bit more

We'll need a bit more information to be able to help you...

As far as I know, there is no "drupal image size limit"...

Working from your limited info:

  • in admin/settings/uploads you have a memory size limit on how large uploaded files can be,
  • if you have lightbox installed, admin/settings/lightbox2/automatic this provides a bunch of automatic image handles, including resizing,
  • in admin/user/settings, when user picture support is activated, you have a user picture WxH size limitation setting...

You may have other modules installed affecting this, but it's hard to tell from your information...

What other information is

What other information is needed?

All images that are portrait are cut off at the top, so the height must be the problem.

The modules i have installed are the "photos" module http://drupal.org/project/photos

and i have also just installed lightbox 2.

site is @ www.gfs09.co.uk

I don't have any experience

I don't have any experience working with the photos module. Sorry.

Try disabling the lightbox2 module, just to remove it from suspicion. From there, perhaps dig deeper into any photos.module documentation and/or post a support issue to their module page...

Sorry, I don't have the time to recreate your situation to see if I can help further...
