I started my first social bookmark last month. Of course, I use the Drigg module. Yesterday, I saw two duplicate submitted URLs in my site. I think it's because you can submit both www.example.com and www.example.com/ with no problem. So, with this issue, a Drigg site might get lots of duplicate URLs.

Thanks you.

I don't think a difference of .com and .com/ is all that important because most people submit the URL of specific content, like http://drupal.org/node/515376 . But still, I can see how this could be a problem for some of the sites specialising in rating sites as a whole.

This isssue has raised another worry in me. Does drigg recognise that the URLs
http://drupal.org/node/515376
www.drupal.org/node/515376
drupal.org/node/515376
drupal.org/node/515376/
http://www.drupal.org/node/515376/
www.drupal.org/node/515376/
... are all essentially the same URL?

Even if you do block those people can still just submit http://example.com/? or something similar. Getting rid of the problem entirely is difficult I would imagine.
