Possible to show date once for events with the same date?

I could not find an option to do this, so I filed it as a Feature Request. Currently my events display like this:

Monday July 26, 2009
1:00pm - Event 1

Monday July 26, 2009
2:00pm - Event 2

Monday July 26, 2009
3:00pm - Event 3

Is it possible to combine events under one date heading if they have the same date? Like this:

Monday July 26, 2009
1:00pm - Event 1
2:00pm - Event 2
3:00pm - Event 3
