Okay .. I have been using Simplenews since the beginning of my Web-Site project in 2002 and everything runs okay.
I do not remember when the problem starts and I tried to find a solution by reading all the different issue logs.
Also, I updated to the latest version of simplenews and of course mimemail.

Let's go to the problem description:

I am able to send HTML newsletter, but the body is missing. Only the subject and the header is seen - no body and no footer.

There are several issues like that in the issue log, but nothing gets me a solution.

Right now, I am using the CVS version simplenews.module,v 1.48.2.61 2009/03/06 07:35:24 sutharsan Exp $ - also without any success.
Before, I used simplenews.module,v 1.48.2.49 2008/07/28 12:00:09 sutharsan Exp $, which is in version 1.5.

Just to complete the list, I am using $Id: mimemail.module,v 1.24 2008/03/01 05:11:52 vauxia Exp $

By the way, there is no error logged in my log.

I need the newsletter and looking forward to get a solution. Whatever you need to analyse the problem, please let me know.

Okay ... after a lot of investigations and a bit "try-and-error" I found the problem by myself.

The issue is that simplenews (or Mime) does not work in conjunction with the Ad module (for advertising).
By the means of that you should not configure the Ad module to insert the banner into the newsletter.

That's it.

Would be worth to check whether D6 can do ...
