yes, documentation is really needed, please add it.
Please add there some examples too.

E.g. I would like to vizualize graph of growing number of users on our site in time (our site exists cca 3 years)

Hi igorik,
This module is just a graphing tool, not a reporting tool. In the case of your example you'll need to run a query for getting the info you need, then display that info as a table and then call to Visualize to render the table as a graph, see the handbook page here for an example.
