This is BETA2 of Image Gallery Access for Drupal 6.
We do not recommend installing it on a production site, but we encourage you to test it and provide feedback (both good and bad!) in the issues queue. See #365936-6: RC3 for D6 - [Image Gallery Access] for details.
You must update to ACL 6.x-1.0 before installing Image Gallery Access BETA2!
Note: On 2009-08-08 two changes have been committed to Image 6.x-1.x-dev that break BETA2!
This here is the last version of IGA that works with Image versions prior 2009-08-08 (up to their 6.x-1.0-alpha5).
If you have a later Image version, BETA2 will not work correctly: please use the current 6.x-1.x-dev instead!

Bugs fixed:
- Cast to VARCHAR rather than to CHAR for pgsql.
- Avoid an E_NOTICE.
- #472494: check_plain() the role names.
Enhancements:
- Improve information about troubleshooting and avoiding conflicts with Content Access.
- Minor refactoring to stay in synch with Forum Access.
- Disable checkboxes for roles that have no or full access anyway.
- #213957: Implement the ability to use the settings of an existing gallery as a template.
- Provide a choice of how/when to update the {node_access} table and only do it if necessary.
- Tune presentation of configuration information.
- Add extensive configuration information and trouble-shooting tips.
- Use View grant to control access to the gallery's access settings, too.
- Keep the checkboxes aligned even when the column titles wrap.
Note: The devel_node_access module, which is part of the Devel module, provides an in-depth view into the inner workings of node access, especially if you enable its debug mode at admin/settings/devel#edit-devel-node-access-debug-mode . This is a big help for understanding the forces that control access to any given node.
Note the Drupal core and Image module issues listed on the Image Gallery Access front page, which are outside the scope of Image Gallery Access. Help resolve these issues to make Image Gallery Access perform even better!.
