I have just installed filemanager and acidfree on my Drupal 4.7b5 version and wondering if there is a way for authenticated users to upload pictures/videos only to a specific predertermined list of albums.
For instance, I don't want the users to be able to create their own albums. Instead I would like to only allow them to upload their pictures to a specific pre-determined list of albums. In order to do this I have to uncheck the "create acidfree albums" option. When I do this, the input box to "browse" for a file is taken away when they navigate to: "create content-acidfree media-acidfree photo". Therefore they are unable to upload photo's. Oddly if you click over to the video tab the browse input box reappears.
Next, I don't want users to have access to "administer nodes". When this box is unchecked the user cannot upload their photos or videos to a predertermined album as the box containing this list is not shown. The uploaded file is then sent to the "root" album outside of the predertermined list of albums.

alchemist commentedI'm running drupal 4.6.5 and I have some of the same concerns. I don't want our users to be able to adminster nodes, but if I disable that feature, it breaks acidfree. Is there some sort of work around?
